And there are places where one can borrow consciousness raising sound and video tapes. There is a bookshop in the main office filled with tapes and books and things one might need. Some come for room and board but most are here for workshops and seminars.

You might get that impression from them too. Don’t take it personally. It’s just ‘the nature of the beast’. Let what happens in the classroom stay there.

Mere minutes ago I was happily asleep in comfortable small clean shared quarters — the slightest pungent smell of lemon polish pervades a chest of drawers. But communicating with people you’ve never met who have become suddenly your roommate is a strange experience for me.

(Proverbs 15:14 NLT – A wise person is hungry for truth, while the fool feeds on trash.) Perhaps it’s time for us to turn of the TV’s and video games for a while and truly study God’s word.
golden teacher Often, students in difficult classes receive little or no praise at school and often not at home. A little praise goes a long way. Any progress the class or students make should be praised either publicly or one on one, depending on the student and the situation. Offer rewards for goals achieved, good efforts by the class or individual. These rewards might be as simple as a sticker or a stamp or a lolly. Your class circumstances will help decide.

It is for us to become familiar with the language we have in common with the Soul, that of visual symbols. A first step is to take the dreams seriously enough to write them down, and then look them up in a book on dream symbols, such as “Watch Your Dreams” by Ann Ree Coulton, or take a dream interpretation class as I did.
So, I’ve been on a journey of learning to listen to myself at a deeper level. And, I invite you to join me on this journey, too. I want to share four of the ways I’ve been deepening my ability to listen to my self. And, conveniently, they spell S.E.L.F…

If not, if you’re setting up your own system, be certain that it is one that can be taught and duplicated. Remember, it will only work if others can make it work.
